Dr. TOP says NO NO NO to smoking

On KBS Inkigayo Big Bang joined the ranks of stars promoting a smoke free life.

TOP and G-Dragon have been spotted before smoking but it’s unknown if they currently smoke. The short song and video features anti-smoking messages and Seungri dressed up as a nurse as well as TOP cosplaying as a doctor. SHINee and Super Junior have previously done similar videos.

New boyband 2PM strives to be unique. Unfortunately their unique fashion makes my eyes bleed.

Their rehersal outfits are a bit… loud. I’m not one to knock colourful patterns, they help make an outfit jump out at you, but when you have a group of boys all wearing colourful plaid? It’s just too much. And their choice in socks? Or rather, purple shiny leggings? …No.

Super Junior M set to release new MV

Early pictures from Super Junior M‘s new music video, 迷 (Me), were leaked ages ago but now more images and an official announcement has been released.

The four images that have been all over the internet just look old. The music video images reminds me of a time when Super Junior M didn’t look like a bunch of hippies with wild hair and sadly their outfits are ones we’ve seen ten billion times so far.

Unless they’re hiding something awesome the music video looks like a bore.

Heechul is a proud father

Despite previous statements that he doesn’t feel comfortable around kids it’s hard to deny the enthusiam Super Junior‘s Heechul has when around them. SBS’s pilot for their new show Johasuh is set to air at 11am on the 14th of September.

There isn’t much information about the show other than that the premise is to be a good father. It’s probably another show wanting to boost Korea’s baby making market, similar publicity acts have been done with other stars, but who am I to complain? Idols and babies is a win/win situation.

U-kiss is lazy

Didn’t their first music video debut only a short while ago? Are they pulling a Big Bang by releasing two music videos relatively close to themselves? U-kiss‘ second music video, a cover of Backstreet Boys hit song As Long As You Love Me, is one of the laziest music video’s I’ve ever seen.

The song itself is okay, if you like Backstreet Boys to beging with, but lacks the flair and new take that other k-pop covers posses. It’s the same song you’ve heard before, in fact, it sounds like the exact same song that came out in 1997 only slightly worse.

The music video isn’t really a music video, but more a slideshow of the members. I’ve seen fanmade music videos with more effort and style. Even the dance breaks are simply stills of the group dancing.

Now, Big Bang can get away with releasing a part two of their hit Day After Day. Sure, the video is simply unseen phootage from the first version, but at least there was some effort put into it. As for U-kiss‘ music video? If their management is putting this little effort into their debut I don’t see them going far.

Shindong sticks to his diet

Previously Super Junior’s lovable member Shindong revealed that he was planning on losing weight and had lost up to 10kg. I can’t be the only one that’s noticed he’s continued to lose weight.

No word on how he’s losing weight but here’s hoping it’s a routine filled with excercise and healthy food. He’s no longer looking like overweight Shindong but instead resembles an average person you’d see walking through the street. Sadly, as long as he preforms with his fellow skin and bones Eeteuk and the rest of Super Junior he’ll always look bigger than life.

G-Dragon is too fashionable

Lettuce couple strikes again

Hwang Bo and Hyunjoong are showing their playful side in the new episodes of MBC’s hit We Got Married. The make believe couple recently hit their 100th day of marriage and celebrated with a fun wedding photo shoot.

The couple still has their awkward moments but continue to dote on each other in their own way. Hyunjoong became jealous in a recent episode when Hwang Bo was talking about a friend as he mistook the friend as a guy. Hwang Bo continues to show her fun side with kid groom Hyunjoong and despite the age difference the two appear to genuinely have fun together.
